Policies

These policies are designed to ensure that TriBalance Massage Therapy is always ready to provide you with the best experience possible while also providing a safe and sanitary working environment for our therapists.

In addition to the following policies, our therapists may refuse to provide services for any reason.

Illness

We ask that you not schedule an appointment if you are experiencing any symptoms of illness including, but not limited to, cough, shortness of breath, fever, fatigue, headache, sore throat, congestion, nausea, and/or diarrhea.

Behavior/Professionalism

We take our profession seriously and as such ask that you behave in a professional manner before, during, and after your appointment. Any untoward behavior will result in a denial of services. This means that your appointment may be cancelled without notice and any in-progress service will be stopped immediately. You will be asked to pay for the entire appointment and asked to leave.

Preparedness

Please show up for your massage 10 to 15 minutes early to allow for time to fill out any necessary paperwork. Please be clean and freshly showered when you arrive.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel your appointment, please provide 24 hours notice. Should TriBalance Massage Therapy need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we will provide notice as soon as possible.

Late Arrival

If you arrive late to your appointment, you will only receive the remainder of your appointment. Everyone’s time is valuable and we cannot push back the client scheduled after you.

Missed Appointment

If you miss an appointment without providing notice, you will be charged a fee equivalent to half the price of the missed appointment. This fee must be paid before you can schedule another appointment with us.

Contraindications

A contraindication, in this context, means that you cannot receive a massage/direct touch to the affected area until healed. Examples include sunburns, cuts, abrasions, poison ivy, severe acne, athlete’s foot, skin irritations, etc. Please alert our therapists if you have any contraindication(s) and we will determine whether it is possible to provide massage therapy services.
